What is a website page ranking checker?
A website page ranking checker shows where a website appears for a chosen keyword in search results. Ranking Checker checks Google organic results in the Top 40 for your selected location and device and saves the history.
What does outside the Top 40 mean?
Your site was not found in the first 40 organic results checked for that keyword, location, language and device at that time. It may rank below the checked range; this is not a test of whether Google has indexed the page.
Is this a Google PageRank score?
No. Ranking Checker checks keyword positions in Google search results. It does not provide a universal website score or the former Google Toolbar PageRank score.
Does the trial include automatic daily refresh?
Yes. Every free Starter trial includes 7 days of automatic daily refresh for up to 5 Google keyword-device checks per day. These scheduled Google checks do not use your 50 extra manual credits.
What are the 50 extra credits for?
Use them to manually recheck or restart a Google ranking check before the next daily refresh. One keyword on one device costs 1 credit, so desktop and mobile together cost 2 credits. The same balance can also fund manual AI checks when available. The 50 credits are granted once with a new account.
What is included in the free trial?
Every plan starts with the same free Starter trial: 7 days of automatic daily Google refresh for up to 5 keyword-device checks per day, plus 50 extra credits for manual rechecks. Can I track desktop and mobile results?
Yes. Desktop and mobile can be tracked separately. Each selected device counts as one keyword-device check toward the plan limit.
Can I share ranking reports with clients?
Yes. Projects can generate shareable read-only reports, making it easy to show current positions and ranking history.
What does ChatGPT Visibility measure?
It records whether your tracked brand or domain appears in sampled OpenAI model responses generated with web search, together with cited sources when they are available. Each result is tied to a specific recorded check.
Is Weekly AI included in paid plans?
Paid base plans are Google-only. Weekly automatic AI Visibility is an optional monthly add-on. Its prompt capacity matches the plan keyword limit, and each eligible active prompt is sampled once every 7 days.
Can I run AI checks without the add-on?
Manual AI checks cost one shared credit when the AI service is available. The optional Weekly AI add-on is not required for a manual check. Failed manual AI checks return the reserved credit.
Do automatic Google checks spend manual credits?
No. Automatic daily Google checks included in the trial or paid plan do not spend manual credits. The 50 extra starting credits are a separate balance for manual checks. Manual Google keyword-device checks and manual AI prompt checks each cost 1 credit when available.
Does Ranking Checker assign a fixed ChatGPT rank?
No. Model responses can vary between checks and may differ from answers shown in the consumer ChatGPT application. Ranking Checker reports observed mentions, citations and trends for sampled checks—not a universal or guaranteed position.
Does Ranking Checker improve rankings automatically?
No. Ranking Checker measures and organizes ranking data. SEO results still depend on your website, content, authority, competition and implementation.
